Most of these individuals have been trained to catch mistakes in the tax reporting of individuals who have not been honest about their income levels. This is their main job because they are trying to cover the deficit of the government when going through old tax forms.

It is very important that a person has the proper documentation to verify that they could take the deductions that they did. Failure to do this is not in the best interest of anyone because eventually those claims can be challenged.
